Home Security Projects

Ergonomic home furniture has been a growing trend as many offices move to the home as workers begin to work more at home than in an office environment. Ergonomic came about when it was noticed that people sitting for long hours in the office became fatigued and complained about back pain. With the advancement of technology a person could spend more and more time in a chair behind a computer screen than before the technology boom. Thus Ergonomic furniture is born, where the design of the chair is carefully designed to reduce fatigue and back pain by providing support where other standard chairs do not.

However not always was ergonomic home furniture associated with comfort. In face in the early 1980′s an office chair was developed and designed to reduce stress and fatigue on the body. In theory it should have worked, having the worker positioned in a position that resembled kneeling than sitting. Needless to say, the design did not relieve as much stress off the back. It was found that people in standard chairs with backs were feeling less fatigued than this new ergonomic chair design. So back to the drawing board they went and incorporated the lumbar support that was adjustable for the back. This design tended to work much better and Ergonomic furniture took off.  Read more...

Since the flavor and feel of a room usually comes from the accessories and accents, you can often decorate a room without buying new furniture and other high-dollar items.
